Welcome to MCAI-DC

Formerly ITVA-DC

Our chapter has recently renamed and reorganized itself. MCA-I, our parent organization, wanted to retire the name "ITVA" and requested that we cease using it. Our associate members (the majority of our membership) resisted the name change to "MCAI-DC" and formed a separate local organization, TIVA-DC.

Currently the two organizations, MCAI-DC and TIVA-DC, have a very cooperative relationship and hold joint meetings and events. Each recognizes and extends membership benefits to members of the other.

MCAI-DC is currently accepting only new members who join through the Media Communications Association - International and designate "Washington DC" (MCAI-DC) as their chapter in their membership application.
